I know, I know. It sounds (and looks) like a gimmick. I concur. But it’s not! Learn how you can use a simple blow dryer and the Erase Cosmetics 3 Minute Instant Face-Lift to take off a decade in, you guessed it, THREE minutes!
I came upon the Erase Cosmetics 3 Minute Instant Face Lift last week at bedtime. I was in my last moments of consciousness before the Ambien kicked in, and even though I generally stay away from my cell phone in that state, I felt the nagging urge to check my email.
This is what I found:
Suffice it to say, the Good Housekeeping blog isn’t normally in my wheelhouse, but seriously, how could I not click on that? I figured I may as well get a good chuckle before nighty-night, but check this out:
So, in preparation for the distinct possibility of post-Ambien amnesia, I took a screenshot and started my due diligence first thing the following morning.
Instead of finding just another gimmick, I learned about the coolest, immediately gratifying, good for your skin, worth every penny, life changing, skincare product.
What It Is
The Erase Cosmetics 3 Minute Instant Face Lift is a clear, scentless, topical serum, that not only erases your wrinkles for 8 to 12 hours, but also helps diminish the loss of skin elasticity in the long run (which means less wrinkles and sagging, ladies)!
If you really don’t care about the ‘how’s’ of things, then just watch this video of the Erase Cosmetics 3 Minute Instant Face Lift in action!
How it Works
This first 3 ingredients are important for their long term anti-aging properties. Retinol (a fancy name for Vitamin A) is an antioxidant that stops free-radical damage.
Free radicals are nasty little atoms with a single electron that wants to find a friend and, in doing so, goes around breaking up happily coupled electrons so she won’t be lonely, but only ends up breaking up a perfect pair bringing about another single electron searching for a match and forming another free radical.
We’ll totally discuss free radicals in more detail in a future article, but for now what you need to know is that they are the biggest reason that we lose collagen and the less collagen the more sagging, wrinkling and aging.
The next cool antioxidant is Tripeptides. Tripeptides are like little superheroes that go around regenerating the collagen that is destroyed by the free radicals. (you’ll never look at antioxidants the same, will ya?)
Finally there’s Collagen (vegetable collagen). When applied topically, collagen holds in the skin’s moisture, plumping it up and making it more supple and firm. But let’s get to the good part!!
Sodium Silicate is a non-toxic buffering agent. As it begins to dry onto the skin it makes the skin taut, and eventually (within a minute or so), lifts the skin up, temporarily smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
Magnesium Aluminum Silicate is a purified clay that is mostly used to thicken cosmetic products. But when used in tandem with Sodium Silicate, it helps to bulk up the crease of the wrinkle giving a bigger, smoother result.
Like a cup of espresso added to your morning coffee.
How it Goes Down
It’s super easy to use. First you clean your skin – your makeup, sunscreen, lotions, everything. Shake up the Erase Cosmetics 3 Minute Instant Face Lift Serum and apply a small amount to the areas of need.
You can use it on your face, hands, neck, chest…really, anywhere that wrinkles bother you.
Gently massage the serum into the skin (upward motions are recommended). You can use your fingers, like the guy in the video, or get fancy with a foundation brush. Whatever makes you happy and warm inside.
For the best results, next apply air with a cool hair dryer or fan for 3 minutes. If you let it dry naturally it takes 9 or 10 minutes.
The Bottom Line
If it had no active ingredients, and served no other purpose, I might put this in the same category as colored contacts and butt-lifting Spanx. But since it benefits my skin too, I can use it but still feel like I’m doing something that will help my skin in the long run!
8/15/17 UPDATE – Since writing this article a whole slew of other products with the same wrinkle filling components, sodium silicate and magnesium aluminum silicate, but for a lot less money!
Here are a few:
